/ A barrage of leaks may have spoiled the Pixel 9 lineup, but Google could still have some surprises in store during its August 13th event.

Google is planning to hold its sooner-than-anticipated Pixel hardware presentation on Tuesday, August 13. We know very well what to expect because of the constant stream of leaks that have surfaced over the last few weeks.

Google has previously stated that the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be released, but there may be more surprises in store for fans of the brand, such as the Buds Pro 2 and possibly even the Pixel Watch 3.

Here’s a summary of all we currently know.

Google Pixel 9 lineup adds a smaller Pro option

Google is anticipated to release the Pixel Pro in two sizes: a larger 6.8-inch device and a smaller 6.3-inch model, in addition to the Pixel 9. The telephoto camera was previously exclusive to the larger phone model, thus this will be the first time the Pro capabilities are offered in two distinct sizes.

There will be some noticeable design changes with the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, as seen in the Google-shared image and other leaks. The device’s back now features a rounder camera module that protrudes, giving both the Pro and basic variants smoother edges.

Both phones could start with 128GB of storage, with options going up to 1TB on the Pro model. The cameras on both devices will likely receive some updates as well. The leaked spec sheet shows the Pixel 9 with a 10.5MP selfie camera, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 48MP ultrawide lens. In addition, the leak indicates that the Pixel 9 Pro will have a 42MP selfie camera and three cameras on the back. The base Pixel 9 is expected to have the same chip with a 6.3-inch display and 12GB of RAM.

The Exynos 5400 modem from Samsung is another reported addition to the Pixel 9 lineup. It may power a satellite SOS feature akin to that of the most recent iPhone models. Google may also include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the Pixel 9 series, according to a report from Android Authority. This would presumably address some of the problems users have been experiencing with the current optical under-display sensor.

While the Pro model is supposed to come in charcoal, porcelain, rose, and hazel, the Pixel 9 is anticipated to arrive in obsidian, rose, and green.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold gets taller and slimmer

Google intends to offer more phones this summer in addition to those three. Additionally, it is preparing for the launch of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, its next-generation foldable device.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold seems to be larger and thinner than the one from last year. The device’s squircle-shaped rear camera housing, which now houses two sets of cameras, also reflects that design shift.

According to rumors, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will include an 8-inch inner panel and a 6.3-inch cover display. Its 5.8-inch outside display and 7.6-inch inner display are bigger than those of the original Pixel Fold. According to other sources, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will have a folded thickness of 10.5mm and an unfolded thickness of 5.1mm, making it slimmer than its predecessor. When unfolded, it can also lie flat entirely.

According to a leaked specs sheet, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will include 16GB of RAM in addition to the same G4 Tensor CPU as the other smartphones in the lineup. Along with a 48MP primary camera, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto sensor on the rear, it might also contain a 10MP front-facing camera. It is anticipated that the Pixel Fold would come in porcelain and obsidian.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 brings back the wing tip

Now that the original Pixel Buds Pro have been available for two years, it appears like Google intends to update them. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 include a little wing tip that protrudes from the side of each bud, similar to the “stabilizer arc” on the original Pixel Buds, according to leaked photos from OnLeaks.

Larger grills that complement the hues of the bud and a charging case that seems to have a tiny speaker (maybe to make a sound while utilizing Google’s Find My feature?) are two other minor modifications. Expected color options for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 include gray, white, green, and pink.

Though we don’t know much about the specifications, we may have a decent idea of how the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will look. The case might include a larger 650mAh battery, according to a regulatory listing that was discovered earlier this year. Other than that, we should anticipate the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to have the same multipoint functionality and active noise reduction as its predecessor.

A Pixel Watch 3 with two sizes and bigger screens

Only renders of the Pixel Watch 3 have been released thus far, and they depict a somewhat chunkier-looking device. The Pixel Watch 3 is anticipated to be available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, in contrast to its predecessor. Because of its smaller bezels, the 41mm model is said to have a 10% larger screen than its comparably sized predecessor.

Additionally, according to recent reports, both Pixel Watch 3 models will have an ultra wideband processor and a brighter 2,000-nit display, which should improve location tracking accuracy. Additionally, it is reported that the 41mm watch would have a slightly larger 310mAh battery and charge 20% faster than the Pixel Watch 2.

According to leaked marketing materials released by Android Headlines, both sizes may offer up to 24 hours of battery life with the always-on display turned on or up to 36 hours with a new Battery Saver mode. The documents also allude to improved camera controls when pairing with a Pixel phone, support for offline Google Maps, and the option to monitor live feeds from your Nest Cam and Nest Doorbell from your watch.

Unfortunately, the larger 45mm device might not work with the bands that you currently have on your Pixel Watch 2. According to a report, the 45mm version may not work with smaller bands due to a “altered” band connection. According to Android Headlines, the 45mm Pixel Watch 3 might not receive as many band selections as the 41mm model.

Anything else?

Despite expectations that it will be unveiled at the Pixel hardware event, Google has already unveiled its new TV streamer, which may compete with the Apple TV 4K. Google also unveiled new Gemini-powered features for its Google Home app, as well as the fourth generation Nest Learning Thermostat.

It appears like Google is preparing to launch the Pixel 9 along with a new weather app. The app, which is already available on APKMirror, might offer a weather map, AI weather summaries, rain alerts, and more.

That’s all the information we currently have, but there is still time before Google’s August 13 event, so additional leaks could yet occur.
